Apple Wax: dangerous to health?

Written By Helen Nneka Okpala on Tuesday 30 May 2017 | May 30, 2017

I sometime watched a WhatsApp video showing how imported apples are being coated with wax which may be unhealthy for consumption but didn't believe it until I tried the experiment myself. In the video, they demonstrated by slightly scrapping the apple with razor blade. I used my sharp kitchen knife to try and got the exact result I saw in the video which made me scream. Some say this is dangerous to health. This is really a cause for worry and I ask myself: "How can I have fresh apples without wax"?
